The Encounter Silent Retreat is a 72-hour Christ-centered experience designed for women who long to step away from the noise of everyday life and spend intentional time with the Lord.

Set in the peaceful mountains of North Georgia, this retreat invites you to unplug from technology, slow down, and create space to hear God's voice through silence, prayer, Scripture, worship, and personal reflection. Whether you're seeking spiritual renewal, clarity, healing, or simply rest, Encounter provides an atmosphere where you can draw near to Jesus without distraction.

While much of the retreat is spent in silence, you'll also experience meaningful moments of worship, guided teaching, and authentic sisterhood with women who share a desire to grow in their faith.

Surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery, comfortable accommodations, nourishing meals, and a peaceful environment, Encounter is more than a retreat—it's an opportunity to pause, be refreshed, and experience God's presence in a deeper way.

Nestled in the mountains of Dahlonega, Georgia, our spacious mountain cabin offers the perfect place to unplug, rest, and draw near to God. Enjoy peaceful forest views, cozy gathering spaces, and the crisp beauty of fall from every corner of the property.

Rosy Acevedo
Founder, Ministry Leader, Biblical Teacher
Rosy Acevedo is the founder and heart behind Dare to Love Ministries.
Driven by a deep love for the Lord and a mission to inspire women to love God, love themselves, and love others, Rosy leads the retreat with a passion to spread the love and spread the gospel. ​
​
Her professional journey, first in law and later as a successful Mary Kay Sales Director, was all part of God’s divine plan to prepare her for ministry. Each step shaped her into the woman God would use to equip others in their walk of faith.
​
Having faced her own personal struggles and her share of loss and grief, Rosy has encountered God in powerful ways through seasons of seeking and surrender. Her passion for Scripture and the unshakable hope it offers fuels her desire to share biblical truth with other women.
​
She reminds women that nothing in life escapes God’s hand, and that His promises are personal, powerful, and ever-present. Out of this conviction and calling, this retreat is held to bring women into a deeper relationship through silence and solitude. It is through the silence that we can hear from the Lord for wisdom and direction as we encounter all of Him! ​

1 / Arrival & Departure
​​Join us in Dahlonega, Georgia for a weekend of sacred stillness and sisterhood. Check in on Thursday, November 5 at 2:00PM, and depart on Sunday, November 8 at 12:00PM, as you step away from everyday distractions and draw near to God.
2 / Your Experience

Everything is included! Your registration includes 3 days and 2 nights of lodging, all meals, snacks, retreat materials, and a weekend led by the D2L Founder through worship, prayer, Bible study, guided reflection, fellowship, and intentional silence.
3 / Accommodations
Rooms accommodate 2–4 women and include a combination of single beds and shared queen beds. Room assignments and bed preferences are honored whenever possible based on registration order and availability.
4 / Registration
​The retreat investment is $595, with payment plans available. A limited number of scholarships are available through the Retreat Scholarship Request. Full payment must be received on or before October 25, 2026 to secure your reservation.
