Designed for those seeking to grow their faith while taking a break from the busyness of everyday life and unplugging from technology. This retreat offers the perfect opportunity to slow down, reconnect with the Lord, and encounter him in a profound way. It is for the woman that wants to invest in yourself, spiritually, emotionally, and personally.

Through fellowship, reflection, meditation, and intentional time in God’s presence, you'll experience both spiritual renewal and personal growth.

Rosy Acevedo

Founder, Ministry Leader, Biblical Teacher

Rosy Acevedo is the founder and heart behind Dare to Love Ministries.
Driven by a deep love for the Lord and a mission to inspire women to love God, love themselves, and love others, Rosy leads the retreat with a passion to spread the love and spread the gospel.

Her professional journey, first in law and later as a successful Mary Kay Sales Director, was all part of God’s divine plan to prepare her for ministry. Each step shaped her into the woman God would use to equip others in their walk of faith.

Having faced her own personal struggles and her share of loss and grief, Rosy has encountered God in powerful ways through seasons of seeking and surrender. Her passion for Scripture and the unshakable hope it offers fuels her desire to share biblical truth with other women.

She reminds women that nothing in life escapes God’s hand, and that His promises are personal, powerful, and ever-present. Out of this conviction and calling, this retreat is held to bring women into a deeper relationship through silence and solitude. It is through the silence that we can hear from the Lord for wisdom and direction as we encounter all of Him!

At the Encounter Silent Retreat, you will be equipped to encounter Jesus in a deep and impactful way. Through worship, prayer, studying the Word, reflection, group interaction, and silence, you’ll be guided into meaningful experiences that reveal the power of the Holy Spirit and the presence of God in every detail of your life.

The retreat includes:

• Guided time in worship, prayer, and Bible study.

• Small group discussions to connect, reflect and share insights.

• Personal solitude for journaling and reflection.
